When I think of all the people that have touched our lives and of whom we have only positive thoughts and fond memories, our dear friend and loyal brother Melvin is among those at the top of the list. I had the privilege of working closely with him on the HLC in Newfoundland in the 80's and 90's and his devotion to Jehovah and love for the brothers and sisters was evident in the way he carried out his assignments. I also spent many relaxing precious moments in time sailing with Melvin and our mutual friend and brother, skipper Lloyd, and those memories will be forever cherished. Melvin is safe in Jehovah's memory and we look forward to seeing him again when 'no resident will say "I am sick". Melvin was so fortunate to have such a devoted, loyal and hard working wife and friend, Lucy, with whom our thoughts and prayers will be daily.
