Peacefully passed away into the arms of Jesus, after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at the Guelph General Hospital in his 90th year. Loving husband for 63 years to Alice. Dear father Judith (Gary) Bannon, John (Jo Anne), Sandra (Jim) Hartleib and Ted. Proud “Papa” of Greg (Vera), Patrick (Ashley), Ryan (Stephanie), Scott (Katherine), Shaun, Cody (Rebecca), Arielle (John) and Matthew. Great-grandfather of Lukas, Mikayla, Brayden, Harrison, Bentley, Owen, Charlotte, Madelyn and Elizabeth. Peter will be fondly remembered by his extended family, his church family and friends.
Visitation will be held at MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill St E, Acton, on Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 1-4 p.m. A private interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery. A celebration of life service will be held at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 365 Queen St., E., Acton on Monday, December 5, 2022 at 1 p.m.
