Passed away, peacefully, at the Georgetown
Hospital, on Sunday, March 6, 2022
age 96 years, following a courageous battle.
Beloved wife of Stanley for 77 years.

Cherished and loving mother of
Wendy (Ralph) Nellis, Paul, Ralph (Lindsey
Sperzel) and daughters in law Leona, and Kim.
Predeceased by her sons Wayne (2012)
and Mark (2016) and his wife Lina (2003).

Proud grandma of 14 grandchildren:
Mark (Susan), Krystina, Tyler, Michael, Curtis,
Meighan (Eric), Melissa (Ryan), Ryan,
Joshua (Amy), Nathan (Amy), Caitlin (Jeff),
Matthew (Michal), Alex, Gordon (Maggie) and
18 great grandchildren:
Emily, Ella, Bentley, Mason, Avery, Wayne,
Hudson, Mia, Luca, Leo, Lennon, Maxwell, Oliver,
Brody, Jude, Millie, Stanley, Bowen.

Dear sister of Bernice Felton and
the late Hilda Orsini.
Special cousin of 100-year-old Sammy Vetere.

Florence was born and raised in Toronto, where
she met Stanley. Once they were married, she
moved to Stanley’s parents, Gordon and Violet's
registered Holstein farm in Acton. While on the
farm, she worked hard and learned all about the
country life. She learned how to drive a tractor with a
fully loaded hay wagon, ride horses bare back, and
maintain a rural home.
Eventually she and Stanley built their own home in
Crewsons Corners where they raised their children
and watched their family grow.

A private family service will be held at Mackinnon Family Funeral Home,
55 Mill Street East, Acton on Saturday, March 12, 2022
Interment at Rockwood Cemetery in the spring.
