Obituary for Phyllis Louise Patrick

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loving mom Phyllis Louise Patrick (Robertson), one week short of her 92rd birthday, on Monday July 26, 2021. Phyllis was a life-long Acton resident, born here on August 4th, 1929. She worked at Mason Knit and the Eaton’s Order Office until its closure. She was a member of the Acton Bowling Lanes, very involved with the Acton Curling Club and received her Life Member Award from the Ontario Horticultural Association.
Mom loved her gardens. Back in the day she meticulously sewed many dance costumes for her daughters Susan and Trevolyn. She was a very strong and independent woman who was affectionately known as the “Chocolate Grandma” by her Great Granddaughters Lola and Molly. Phyllis is survived by her daughters Susan (Conrad), and Trevolyn (Ron), grandchildren Kristel (Shawn) and Jeff (Laura), Richard and Angela (Devon). She was predeceased by her husband Vic, parents Norm and Jess Robertson and sister Glenice Hurren.

A private family service and interment will take
place at Fairview Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
