Very sadden to hear of Uncle Johns Passing. He was a wonderful uncle during the time my sister and I spent with him and Nancy. It was a very long time ago but never forget his big heart and loved his laugh and smile. I missed him for many yrs. John and Cheryl Jacewicz (Emmerson).

On behalf of executive and members of Branch 197, I offer our deepest condolences in the loss of our comrade John. We miss him telling us that every time he visited he laughed and said it was his birthday so he could get a free birthday drink. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Sorry to hear about John. Another member of the old "Wartime Gang" gone but never forgotten. The Emmerson's were very close friends and neighbours of the Holmes family. John had that great Emmerson sense of humor and always found a way to get a chuckle out of everyone he met.
Love always
Bob and Jane Holmes
