She leaves behind many nieces and nephews in Hamilton, Halton, Ohio, Spain and Italy. She was born one of nine children in San Marco, Treviso, Italy and came to Canada in her early 20s.
Teresa was our mother, but to others she was Mother Teresa. A very strong woman with unmatched compassion, perseverance and determination. Her life was always guided by a strong love and she was the family’s nucleus. She was a dedicated wife and mother who cherished all her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. So proud of each of her children & grandchildren, she was always the head cheerleader from the sidelines.

Her children knew to be very respectful of Teresa because she was the owner of many broken wooden spoons and the quick draw “Savata”.

Recognized by many as a close friend she was a confidant for so many, to listen and offer straightforward advice. She was never shy to offer her opinion and perspective, always valued by all.
A devoted Catholic who led her life in accordance to God’s wishes. A woman of endless skills from seamstress, gardener, chef (famous lasagna), financial advisor, homemaker, etc, she led by example. She was a great teacher and life-long student always learning to better herself and those around her. A love of flowers & gardening her home was always filled with colour and beauty. She never sat down because there was always something to do.

Nothing was more important to her than family, and each gathering was a celebration. We always knew how proud she was of us, but we were more proud of her. We were blessed to have such an incredible woman as our mother.

We love her, miss her and will always remember the woman, mother and Nonna who taught us so much.
A most heartfelt THANK YOU and appreciation for your expression of love and support during this difficult time. May God bless you.

We thank the Halton Emergency Services and Fr. Mark Sullivan for the compassion during this very difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada is greatly appreciated.
