Linda & Dennis Purton;

So sorry to hear of Al passing, he will be missed. Al was always kind and giving man with a welcoming personality., but of coarse his choice of occupation was definitely conducive to this. Al and Joan will remain in our memory when ever we pass by their family home.

Thanks for all the times we talk and laughed out loud at the shop.

Al was a barber by profession but he was so much more than that. Al absolutely loved Toronto sports teams be it the Leafs, Blue Jays, Argos, and Raptors (to some extent). The Saturday before Christmas I looked forward to his annual buffet and meeting the guys and ladies I had not seen for a year. Al served up cheeses, cold cuts, breads, veggies, and his home-made deviled eggs. There was always a variety of beer, liquor, pop, and bottled water to wet anyone's whistle. Al will be sadly missed but he will always be fondly remembered for being a good and generous friend.
