Obituary for Edouard "Ed" Molody

MOLODY, Edouard “Ed”
October 19, 1939 – December 5, 2020

He passed away with his wife Linda by his side, on December 5, 2020 in Dryden, Ontario at the age of 81. Loving husband of Linda for 26 years. Ed will be fondly remembered by his stepsons Michael Brown (Sarah) of Texas, Cameron Brown (Chantal) of Ear Falls, eight granddaughters, one grandson, and one great granddaughter.

Ed was a long-time resident of Erin who three years ago moved to Dryden. He loved to watch the deer wander through our yard, and spent many hours outside talking to the people who walked by. He was proud to have worked for Blow Press, first in Acton, then Guelph, for 49 years.

“I will miss him making me laugh. I’ll miss the sometimes outrageous but funny things he said to people. I’ll miss his quick wit and enormous kind heart. Many times I’ve called my husband Ed my Energizer Bunny because he kept on going and going, in spite of his many health issues. I’ve also compared him to our cats, with nine lives. On December 5, 2020 his batteries were exhausted and his nine lives were spent.”
-Linda Molody.

At Ed’s request no service was held, burial has taken place.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
