It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Ralph Kempton, on Tuesday March 17, 2020 at 4:20 am Ralph took his last breath at Georgetown Hospital.

Born August 23, 1946 in Caledonia, Nova Scotia. He was the exceptional husband and best friend of Marlene (Young) Kempton. Proud father of Chris (Amanda), Laura and Mike. Adoring "Grampy" to Harmony, Tre and Kyla. Loving son of Carrie and Laurence Kempton and brother to Raymond (Elaine). He was predeceased by his brother John (Donna).

Ralph was surrounded by loving family and friends though his cancer journey. Though it may not have always been easy, he kept a smile on his face and others with his constant witty humour though it all.

With a heart of gold and a soul like no other, we know Ralph is looking down on us all with the angels. He may not be with us in person, but we know he’s here in spirit. We can find him in the trees, in the shadows on the ground, and in the sunlight shining down. He’s still here. Rest in peace, we love you.
