Lila Lorraine Atkinson (nee Ranney)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lila Lorraine Atkinson on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the age of 85.
Lila was born in Toronto on November 8, 1933 to Cyril and Violet (Bainbridge) Ranney.
Predeceased by loving husband Ray (2015), daughter Karen (2003), son Tim (1997), father Cyril (1965), mother Violet (1999), brother Monte (1953). She leaves to mourn her children Stephen (Myrna), Lynne Abbott (Neil) and Ben (Michaelle), brother Keith (Mairead), grandchildren Corey Atkinson, Trevor, Matthew and Jodie Abbott, Patrick Shortill and Lori Pickering and 7 great-grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received at MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill St. E., Acton on Monday, August 12, 2019 from 11am – 1pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1pm.
Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Acton.
Those wishing to make donations in memory of Lila may do so to the Alzheimer’s Society or Parkinson Society would be appreciated by the family.
