Peacefully at Milton District Hospital on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at the age of 79. Fondly remembered by his partner Helen McKenna. Beloved husband of the late Gloria McIsaac (2013). Loving father of James (Donna) and Donald (Alexandra). Cherished grandfather of Courtney (Mike) Heffernan, Jason (Samantha) and Allan. Great-grandfather of Georgia and Anna. Survived by his siblings Flora Barber, Ruth (Mike) Rippon, Leroy (Theresa), Donny (Carol) and Ronny. Mac will be dearly missed by many extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends at MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill St. E., Acton on Friday, January 4, 2019, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will take place at Knox Presbyterian Church, 44 Main St. N., Acton on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Acton.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills (CASHH) would be appreciated by the family.
