May 11, 1946 – November 20, 2018

Peacefully with his family by his side at Trillium Hospital, Mississauga, on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the age of 72. Loving husband for 50 years to Barbara. Dear father of Jesse (Lisa), Adam and Aaron (Brooke) and the late Jason. Devoted grandpa of Ashley, Lindsey (Jesse), Madison, Owen and Gwen. Cherished great-grandfather of Noah and River. Loving brother of Sharon (Severino) Franchetto, Kathy (Don) Pharoah, Leonard Forrest and Les (Andrade) Forrest. George was predeceased by his parents Bill and Dorothy Forrest and his siblings Robert Forrest and Phillis McDonald. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends.

The Family will receive friends at MacKinnon Family Funeral Home,
55 Mill St. E., Acton, on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A Legion tribute will be held at 7 p.m.
A memorial service will be celebrated at the Georgetown Christian Fellowship Church, 13619 Highway 7 W., Georgetown, on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.
Cremation has taken place.
