Van den Brink: John
1925 – 2015

Passed away with his family by his side on March 21, 2015 at the Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus in his 91st year. He will be deeply missed by Maria, his wife of 68 years and his children: Jacoba Near (Earl) of Guelph, Evelyne Near (Glen) of Arthur and John Van den Brink (Sandy) of Alberta. John will be lovingly missed by his 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, extended family and many friends. John worked for the Town of Halton Hills and was a volunteer Fire Fighter until his retirement.

The family will receive friends at MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton
on Tuesday, March 24th, 2015 from 7 – 9 p.m. and Wednesday March 25 from 12:30 p.m. till service time.
The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1.30 p.m. and will be followed by the interment at Fairview Cemetery.

Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
