Obituary for Sheila May Foster

FOSTER, Sheila May
October 4, 1949 – July 7, 2018

On July 7, 2018 Sheila May Foster (nee McBain) of Acton, finished the last block of her quilt of life and boarded her school bus for her final charter. Born in Collingwood October 4, 1949, Sheila she leaves behind Robert her husband of almost 50 years, children Lee (Kelly), Gary (Elizabeth), Terry and Lori. Granddaughters Sarah, Sharon and Chloe. As an active member of many different community organizations over the years Sheila will be missed by many.
For over 20 years she was a bus driver for Tyler’s and watched many children grow up within the community. Throughout her life she was passionately involved in many organizations including School Volunteer, Scouting, Fall Fair Secretary, Senior Center just to name a few. But the one thing she will always be remembered for is her love of sewing, quilting, knitting and crochet.
You will be missed by many in so many ways
A Celebration of Sheila’s Life will be held at Ebenezer United Church, 12274 Guelph Line., on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place. To celebrate Sheila’s love of community and children, donations to Milton District Hospital Foundation or Girls Inc. Halton would be appreciated by the family.
