November 10, 1921 – February 21, 2018

The family of Anton (Tony) Gorjup sadly announces his passing at Georgetown Hospital, Georgetown, on Wednesday, February 21st, 2018, in his 97th year. Anton Gorjup, loving husband of the late Maria (Plestenjak) Gorjup. Dear father of Donna Gorjup of Guelph, John Gorjup and his wife, Hannah Reid, of Ottawa, and Paul Gorjup and his wife, Kelly Gorjup, of Georgetown. Wonderful grandfather of Nicholas, Elizabeth, Michael, Natalie and Rachel. Brother of the late Minka Dovč, Janez Gorjup and Joseph Gorjup and their families of Slovenia and Canada. Long time member of the Acton Knights of Columbus. Thank you to the late Ray Kerins and fellow Knights of Columbus, his neighbours on Bower Street, Acton, and the staff at Mountainview Residence and Georgetown Hospital, Georgetown. May he rest in peace.
The family will receive friends at MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill St. E., Acton on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Joseph Patron of Canada Parish, 64 Church St. E., Acton at 10:30 a.m. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Acton.
