Passed away peacefully after a brief illness on December 23, 2016 at the Georgetown Hospital. A loving mother to Marcel (Elaine), Eric (Val) and Frances.
An adored Oma to Adrianna (Ryan), Jordan (Steph), Eric Jr. (Eric), Daniella, Derrick (Suraiya) and Christine (Scott).
A great Oma to Dominic, Isabelle, Madison, Amara and Dustin.
Emma is survived by her brother-in-law Jos Van Opstal of Acton, her many extended family and friends here in Canada and in the Netherlands. Emma is predeceased by her husband Jules, her parents Jacobus and Cornelia and her many siblings.
Friends will be received at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton on Thursday, January 5, 2017, from 1-2 p.m. with the Funeral Service commencing at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated by her family.
