Peacefully with his family by his side at the Oakville Trafalgar Hospital
on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the age of 70.
John was the loving husband of Margie
and the proud father of Teresa, Barbara, Beverly (André) and Angie (Jack).
He was the devoted “Papa” of eleven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter
John was the brother of Lynne (Mike) and Patti (Bryan) and will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.

Friends will be received at MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton
on Thursday, October 20th, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. with a Legion Tribute at 7 p.m.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 197,
15 Wright Avenue, Acton, on Friday, October 21st, 2016 at 1 p.m.

John was Santa Claus for many years to the children of the community in more ways than one. In memory of Dad and his love of children donations to the SickKids Foundation would be appreciated.
