Life Story for Gordon Upson
(World War Two Veteran – Royal Canadian Artillery)
Gord passed away at the Milton District Hospital on Thursday, February 20th, 2008 in his 84th year. He is survived by his wife Loreen and was the loving father of: Marlene Dobush and her husband Joe of Terrace Bay, Janice and her husband Bob Galer of Cambridge, Rick and his partner Barb of Acton,
Steve and his wife Christine of Georgetown, Brian and his partner Linda of Toronto and Debbie Weiland and her partner Ken of Toronto. Gord was predeceased by his sons Don and Wayne. He was a loving and cherished grandfather of fifteen and great-grandfather of eight. He will be missed by his brothers Les and Harvey.
The family will receive friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home
55 Mill Street East, Acton on Saturday, February 23rd from 1 to 3 p.m.
The Rev. Canon J. Mark Tiller will conduct the funeral service in the
“Shoemaker Chapel” at three o’clock. Cremation will follow at Evergreen Crematorium, Milton.
