passed away unexpectedly at the Georgetown Hospital on Wednesday, April 25th, 2012 at the age of 79.

Joan was the loving wife and partner of Harry.

She was predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Ada Alltree. Joan was the sister of Eunice and the late Ken Ringer, the late Ken Alltree and Derek Alltree and his wife Deb and sister-in-law of Nellie and the late Frank Eckhardt, the late Ena Eckhardt and Elly and the late Tom Stutz.

She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family will receive friends at St. Alban-the-Martyr Anglican Church, 19 St. Alban’s Drive, Acton on Monday, April 30th, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service to celebrate Joan’s life which will be conducted by the Rev. Brian Galligan at eleven o’clock.

The interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
