The family announces with sorrow the peaceful passing of Lorne at the Georgetown Hospital on Tuesday, December 6th.

Lorne was in his 70th year. He was the much loved husband of Helene Klammer and was the loving father of: Gregory, Christopher (Elka) and Justin (Norka) and the cherished grandfather of: Aleksa, Isabella and Miluska.

He was predeceased by his brother George and is survived by his siblings Jim (Margaret), Glen, Robert (Fawn), Grace Yandt and his sister-in-law Hilda Elder.

Friends are invited to visit with the family at MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton on Saturday, December 10th from 12:30 p.m. until the funeral service, which will be conducted by the Rev. Matthew Habermas in the “Shoemaker Chapel” at 1:30 p.m.

The interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Remembrances to C.A.S.H.H. or Immanuel Lutheran Church (Georgetown) would be appreciated by the family.
